I am qualified in both sports therapy and sports massage . For years massage has been used for many beneficial reasons, including :-

Improved circulation.
Better skin condition.
Increased feeling of well being.
Reduction in levels of stress and general relaxation.
Injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Increased recovery times after training or racing.

After a sports massage, you will feel invigorated and relaxed.All of our muscles are made up from a large number of individual fibres, and over time, if not looked after correctly, can bunch together becoming tight, and often sore. With a sports massage I will manipulate these fibres, focusing on any specific areas of tension. Through specific techniques, I will help to realign the muscle fibres, which in turn aids muscle recovery, and improves the general condition of the muscle.

If you have a particular area of tension, a muscle spasm, or aknot, deep friction techniques can be applied to alleviate this ‘hyper-irritable’ spot. A sports massage will make you feel as though you have a new body part!
